Grapeape Family

Friday, September 10, 2010. Saturday we headed out to Henersonville. To go apple picking at Sky Top Orchard. If I didn't know better, I would have thought Eve was a Man! The orchard was on top of a mountain with beautiful mountain views in almost every direction. Even Bently got to come and get all kinds of love and attention. Gala apples were in season and just right for picking. Pretty and nice to be outside! Who needs a ladder! They had every kind of apple. Peaches and grapes too! One of our baskets.

Grapeape Family: July 2008

http://www.grapeapefamily.blogspot.com/2008_07_01_archive.html

Wednesday, July 30, 2008. Today, Dylan and I went with my parents to Quite Waters Park to check out their bike trail. (Ashley is on a missions trip in upstate NY. She's ministering in a young church, helping out with their Vacation Bible School program.). The trail was a beautiful 7 mile trip, with a LOT of hills and turns. This picture was a carved log along the trail. (Sorry my lens. Fogged - it was humid.) Fun, but a little challenging with the dog trailer. OOPS! She pumps those fwd's. Unfortunately, ...

Grapeape Family: Down the Shore... AGAIN!

http://www.grapeapefamily.blogspot.com/2009/07/down-shore-again.html

Friday, July 10, 2009. Down the Shore. AGAIN! With Ashley away at the Wilds, Dylan and I decided to spend a couple days down the shore. After we unpacked and got settled in, Dylan fed these ducks some crackers. They soon became fast friends, and followed him everywhere. Mom stayed a few nights too. It was a beautiful sunset, so I decided to take advantage of the evening colors and play with my camera. Mom's spoiled rat/dog, Zena. She really is very cute, and an awesome buddy to take a nap with! This buoy...

Monday, September 29, 2008. Rain, Rain, Go Away! We spent our rainy Saturday afternoon, with Shawn's parents, at the theaters watching the new movie "Fireproof." We had heard that it was produced by the same people who made "Facing the Giants," a few years ago. This movie was sooo. Good, very funny and motivating. It was both a challenge and encouragement to Shawn and I as a Christian couple. The kids loved it! Http:/ www.fireproofthemovie.com/. The Lord be praised, they did a phenomenal job! Monday, Sep...

Grapeape Family: March 2009

http://www.grapeapefamily.blogspot.com/2009_03_01_archive.html

Monday, March 30, 2009. ABC Homeschool Group welcomed home some troops at BWI on Saturday. BWI is often the soldiers first stop into the states, and many have to take connecting flights to get home. While we waited for the flight to arrive, we helped put some bags together. The bags contained items such as bottled water, prepackaged snacks, candy, and homemade cards. The area was decorated with posters, banners and flags. A little girl waiting to greet her Daddy. Sacrifice. Dylan, Me and Ashley. Walls) C...
