So asleep they look dead. Wednesday 9 May 2012. I was cycling around today and saw so many animals fast asleep. It was warmish and windy, the night had been wet. It wasn't only a lot of sheep I saw asleep but also cows and horses. I expect sleeping animals to sit cross legged, heads up and eyes closed. Saturday 12 May 2012. I watched the documentary "Raising Resistance" (2011, 85 min) by Bettina Borgfeld and David Bernet at the "Movies that Matter" festival. Sunday 5 August 2012. We had a cat stay with us for three months while her human significant other was between houses. Kelly (not her real name) is a wild one. She is heavy and strong, has very long and sharp nails and we think she see's spooks. She can suddenly look up, see something we can't see and chase after it. Friday 4 May 2012. The sterile green carpets of grass were dotted with blooming yellow dandelion flowers this week. I tried taking photos of the flowers but couldn't focus on the subtle borders of the petals. Both my aging eyes and the cheap digital camera had problems with crisply defining the edges.
