Tis so much joy. 23 March 2015 @ 05:00 pm. Here’s the thing I love about reading. She always leaves a little bit of blood on the page. You walk away from each of her pieces feeling as though she has said something honest and true. Even when it is told through the lens of a fictional character. And alongside these pieces, she has given us glimpses. And she has treated these stories with dignity, and beauty, and a sense of peace that’s palpable as you wade through the experience. gratefuladoration – my Christian Life & Missionary Work in Japan
My Christian Life and Missionary Work in Japan. My summer holiday and a guest room. Last month Japan celebrated something called Obon- a Buddhist holiday. My summer vacation happened at the same time giving me two weeks off from work. During that time I attended a summer camp for young adults which was encouraging and quite fun. I loved how the pastor ended his messages with a song. The girls housing was so nice and the way the Japanese barbecue is delicious. Teamwork had maybe never seemed so nice.
