http://cookingninetenthsofthetime.blogspot.com/2011/08/donna-i-trusted-you-chocolate-mousse.html
Cooking 9/10ths of the time. Cooking, general chitchat about child rearing and compelling images of baked goods. Tuesday, August 23, 2011. Donna I trusted you! Chocolate mousse meringue cake. This is tarragon, don't try looking for it anywhere in Melbourne, Australia. There is no point. Bridgette got out her eggs and hazelnut meal and confectioners sugar (yes she has that sort of thing lying around in her cooking cupboard) and she measured out the amounts. Golly that seems a lot of sugar! No not like this.

Cooking 9/10ths of the time. Cooking, general chitchat about child rearing and compelling images of baked goods. Sunday, April 15, 2012. Nectar of the Gods (and book club). Normally I don't try brand new recipes on book club. Normally I test them on unsuspecting victims like my family and other friends. Yesterday, however, was an exception. Betchya can't wait to find out what this was. perfect, that's what. Right now, this exact second, my son is sneaking up on me. It is adorable. He loves to do this.

Cooking 9/10ths of the time. Cooking, general chitchat about child rearing and compelling images of baked goods. Saturday, June 7, 2014. Sticky Toffee Loaf - The Comfort of Food. I'm back to the book. David Herbert's wonderful "Best-Ever Baking Recipes". I have been cooking things from this from time to time, but such is my posting malaise I am only now managing to report back. Why a posting malaise? Still posting and still as brilliant as ever. So, it was big when he ate this - and really loved it. ...

Cooking 9/10ths of the time: The Glorious Muffin Recipe - make and add WHATEVS!
http://cookingninetenthsofthetime.blogspot.com/2011/07/glorious-muffin-recipe-make-and-add.html
Cooking 9/10ths of the time. Cooking, general chitchat about child rearing and compelling images of baked goods. Friday, July 22, 2011. The Glorious Muffin Recipe - make and add WHATEVS! I am going to share the easiest muffin recipe in the world, nay the galaxy, with you. Why do I do this, possibly opening the culinary culture up to appalling mutant muffin creations? My cooking was accompanied by some duress, in the form of Gabriel. He was very interested by the cherry tomatoes on the bench and altho...

Cooking 9/10ths of the time: December 2013

Cooking 9/10ths of the time. Cooking, general chitchat about child rearing and compelling images of baked goods. Monday, December 2, 2013. How do Apple users do it! I use the end key ALL THE TIME! I like to cut to the end. I like to move from the here and now and get to the full stop. I am lingering a hell of a lot more in the middle of sentences. And what a crappy place to be! So yeah, if you have the answer. Tell me. In my defence: I am super clean! So here's a dot point list. To name a few. Can't ...

Cooking 9/10ths of the time. Cooking, general chitchat about child rearing and compelling images of baked goods. Friday, January 23, 2015. That's what I've been putting here. Sweet nothing(s). Sweet FA, as they say. I even surprised myself when I saw that it had been 6 months. I have been adding things to my writey blog. Though and so it hasn't been a time of complete indolence. I am seriously asking that question. Christmas came and went, so that's news. With it the treat making that characterizes t...

Cooking 9/10ths of the time: May 2013

Cooking 9/10ths of the time. Cooking, general chitchat about child rearing and compelling images of baked goods. Saturday, May 11, 2013. Fudge Just, "Fudge". Suddenly I am all switched on to making fudge. Somehow I don't think that I ever actually recognised that I could. It felt a bit like chocolate to me. Chocolate just comes from the Valrhona factory. I can manipulate it and cook with it, but I can't create. I'm not some sort of chocolate God. But, but, I can. I slice your fudge Chica. Mothers Day....

Cooking 9/10ths of the time. Cooking, general chitchat about child rearing and compelling images of baked goods. Saturday, March 29, 2014. Warmer, warmer, colder, colder, COLD. Not a fan of the heat. At all. That's WHY I live I live in Melbourne actually. Melbourne is not known for it's temperate climate, instead it's known for freezing winds, unpredictable rain and coffee loving inhabitants. When I visited Seattle I felt right at home. I made a lemon slice and it was lemony and cakey and has a nice crun...

What Were You Thinking?: April 2010
http://ohvic.com/2010_04_01_archive.html
Monday, April 26, 2010. Ted Offers You His Special Gold Tip Shaft. Remember how I wasn't around much for awhile, and then it turned out my computer was to blame and not even my laziness at all? And then I disappeared for even longer? It's like every time I complain that my computer is broken, the computer ups the ante. This time it was blatant computer psychosis, all wacky Pac Man patterns and angry screens full of blather about crash dump. This and I can read your mind. How about if I change the subject?
