Out of the bunch I chose Al Hirschfeld. He is a FAVORITE of mine, and I only had about 10 minutes to spare and his style was simplest. :) This is Charles, our audio guy, who refuses to wear headphones. He's been in and out of our lives at Powerhouse, and now he's back part-time, so we jumped at the opportunity to caricature this gentle giant. I chose to make a joke about how he's in love with these photoshop brushes he made with a sponge. He pridefully points out any time we use them, which is a lot, because they really are swell. The scribblings and scrawlings of megan kluck. Friday, March 26, 2010. This week's Luck of the Draw prompt was Powerhouse smurfs. I did a quick sketch and mess of a cleanup during my break at work today. It's a very male-dominated industry. I don't mind the ratio at work, as I find a bunch of guys are easier to work with than a bunch of girls. Thursday, March 11, 2010.
