My last three surgeries were difficult, physically speaking, but for the most part the body heals. The mind on the other hand, takes longer. As Charles Spurgeon once said:. Grease and A Bible. After Surgery and 40 million gallons of ice cream later. My voice is slowly getting back to normal, yes it hurts a bit to talk.but I don't sound like batman anymore, so thats good. From what the doctors have told me I should expect the pain to remain for about another week. Once the pain from surgery is gone it should then be time to begin radiation. Grease and A Bible. Tuesday was the day to endure round one of my surgeries. Once again, we boarded the train for Philadelphia. This time we were privileged to have our pastor.
