Garden Bench – Soulcraft Woodworking
https://soulcraftwoodworking.wordpress.com/2016/05/24/blog-post-title-6
The real craft you are working on is a thing called yourself. Posted by Good Music Speaks. May 24, 2016. June 25, 2016. I really liked this bench I saw on a recent trip to Virginia Beach. When I got home I really wanted to make a version of my own. I was pretty happy with the results. I did add a brace on each side to make it a little more sturdy. The bench found a home in a friend’s garden and her wonderful daughter posed for a excellent picture. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Enter your comment here.

Picnic Table for Two – Soulcraft Woodworking

The real craft you are working on is a thing called yourself. Picnic Table for Two. Posted by Good Music Speaks. May 24, 2016. June 27, 2016. I was pretty pleased with how this two-person picnic table turned out. Seems just the right size for a romantic dinner for two. Another less-romantic fellow on Facebook suggested it be promoted as a “Arm wrestling table. Don’t be a sissy”. (I am paraphrasing the sissy part.). Leave a Reply Cancel reply. The real craft you are working on is a thing called yourself. Posted by Good Music Speaks. May 24, 2016. June 1, 2016. I had a request from my mom to make a pair of small end tables for her deck, to fit on either side of her porch swing. The tops are made from pressure treated lumber that I stained and sealed with water sealer. The legs and base are painted with exterior paint. I was pleased with the two-toned final product. More importantly, mom was happy, which is the bigger goal. May 24, 2016.

The real craft you are working on is a thing called yourself. Posted by Good Music Speaks. May 24, 2016. June 20, 2016. I built several of these planter boxes, also from plans Ana White shared online. They measure 17 inches by 17 inches and 20 inches tall. After garden cloth is installed in the top section, the potting soil can be added to about 7 inches deep. Anyone’s favorite flowers will have a handmade home in this planter. About – Soulcraft Woodworking
https://soulcraftwoodworking.wordpress.com/about
The real craft you are working on is a thing called yourself. The tagline on the front page is a paraphrase from one of my favorite books,. Zen and The Art of Motorcycle Maintenance. The quote from Robert Pirsig’s book reads, “The real cycle you’re working on is a cycle called yourself”. The notion of Quaility (with a capital Q) contained in the Pirsig book has fascinated me since I first read the book, over 25 years ago. The name Soulcraft Woodworking borrows heavily from another very important book,.

Kid-Sized Picnic Table – Soulcraft Woodworking
https://soulcraftwoodworking.wordpress.com/2016/05/24/blog-post-title
The real craft you are working on is a thing called yourself. Posted by Good Music Speaks. May 24, 2016. June 14, 2016. This is a four foot long, kid-sized picnic table made from a plan published by Ana White. I first built one of these for my two grandsons, Jack and Luke. The 2 x 4 and 2 x 6 boards come together to make a sturdy table that will stand up to two energetic boys. You might be able to park a golf cart on top of this rugged project! Outdoor Patio table – Soulcraft Woodworking
https://soulcraftwoodworking.wordpress.com/2016/05/24/blog-post-title-4
The real craft you are working on is a thing called yourself. Posted by Good Music Speaks. May 24, 2016. September 6, 2016. I loved this patio table with built in coolers from the moment I saw the picture. The plans are from a blog called “Kruse’s Workshop”, where I also found plans for the benches. I finally got a chance to build one when a dear friend asked me to build one to surprise her spouse. She picked out the color and I got it built in time for the Labor Day Holiday weekend, as promised.
