GLCPC - Great Lakes Consortium for Petascale Computation. The Great Lakes Consortium allocates a portion of the Blue Waters supercomputer. A system at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign that performs quadrillions of calculations every second and can work with quadrillions of bytes of data. GLCPC allocations are available to faculty and research groups at the founding GLCPC institutions. Allocations awarded through GLCPC will expire one year from time of award.
