Late in 2012, an advert appeared on the side of my Facebook feed that caught my attention, it was for a 24hr cycling event in April in Cowaramup, near Margaret River Western Australia called Delirium. Last year had been a watershed year in my cycling, I had thrown myself into Audax long-distance riding, completing a number of long events, culminating in the 1200km Great Southern Randonnee. And an exhausted victory salute.
