Monday, June 9, 2008. Lunch in Omaha: La Buvette. Located on 11th, across from Spaghetti Works and Upsteam. You can choose from lots of wine by the glass, or pick something out from their wine shop and pay a corking fee. I love places that have lots of specials. Their hummus isn't as good as mine or anything, but it's pretty good. Their bread, baked on the premises, is as good as Le Quartier. This plate of melon and prosciutto momentarily brought my appetite back. The melon plate looks delicious!

Wednesday, April 30, 2008. I had lunch today at The Cup. Located at 625 S 25 th. Salads, and soup. My aunt got a salad that had really nice, fresh looking greens, and a TON of fresh berries: strawberries, blackberries, and blueberries. She said the dressing was excellent. They had a nice selection of paninis. Including turkey, chicken, and a couple vegetarian options, all served on what appeared to be Le Quartier. Bread I got a roast beef panini. Jesse, Stacey and Maximus. Wednesday, February 25, 2015. Although her life ended too early at the age of 29, Mary Brooke LaChance will always a part of us. I've never known a kinder soul that hers. She lost her terrible battle with cancer last Friday. I love this one. She worked in the floral department at Whole Foods. Even during treatment, she was positive and always beautiful. She turned 29 a couple months ago and lived it up the best she could. Her puppy, Bruce, was her child. Where did the time go?
