Kitchen Concoctions: Rainbow Jello
http://greatrecipesfromgreatpeople.blogspot.com/2013/03/rainbow-jello.html
Our family sharing and trying recipes together! Wednesday, March 20, 2013. I cut this recipe out of the Idaho Statesman around 9 years ago and have been making it ever since. It's a great recipe for a potluck, birthday or St. Patrick's Day. This was way before Pinterest and even blogging, and finding things like this were like gold to me! I know now you can find a ton of variations of Rainbow Jello online, but this is my first and favorite. This recipe takes time but worth it. 2 cups vanilla yogurt.
Kitchen Concoctions: Quick Lemon Bars
http://greatrecipesfromgreatpeople.blogspot.com/2013/03/quick-lemon-bars.html
Our family sharing and trying recipes together! Wednesday, March 20, 2013. This is a really fast and easy dessert. I like these better than regular lemon bars. They are not as sweet and they are very light in texture. This has become a staple for me to make when I take dinner to someone or need a potluck item. It always pleases! I haven't tried different pie fillings yet, but I am sure other flavors would work good too. 1 box angel food cake mix. 1 can lemon pie filling. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Our family sharing and trying recipes together! Tuesday, August 30, 2011. Whole Wheat Banana Chocolate Chip Muffins. Whole Wheat Banana Chocolate Chip Muffins. 1/2 cup butter (1 stick or 4 ounces). 1/2 cup packed light or dark brown sugar. 3/4 tsp baking soda. 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon. 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg.

Let's Gather in the Kitchen: April 2015
http://letsgatherinthekitchen.blogspot.com/2015_04_01_archive.html
Saturday, April 11, 2015. Roasted Red Pepper Bisque. I got this recipe from a friend. It is absolutely wonderful. The original recipe can be found here. I just made a slight variation by omitting the 1/4 cup of dry white wine, using more sour cream, and topping with seasoned croutons. I learned that roasted red peppers freeze wonderfully, making this an easy go-to soup (more like a bisque)! 4 large red bell peppers, roasted seeds removed. 1 tsp olive oil. 1 onion, chopped. 1 carrot, peeled and chopped.

Tuesday, February 23, 2010. So we are getting pretty good at rescuing. Lost/abandoned dogs. Watson, who is on the left, was found by Corey at a construction site out in the desert. He lured her in with some food and she became our dog. A side note this dog is really fast! He out ran the Polaris. Ranger when Corey was trying to chase him down. LOL. The dog jumped out. SO we waited thinking that the lady would figure it out but the dog just kept running after the car! February 23, 2010 at 8:46 PM. Tessas V...
