What's wrong with me now? Saturday, March 26, 2011. Starting last night shortly after I went to bed, I had a painful episode with my right leg. By the way the lower part of my leg, just above the ankle, is where the remaining patch of the DVT discoloration is. I got home at 1:00 pm and the pain level was better. What's wrong with me now? Tuesday, February 21, 2012. A New Medical Specialist. Due to the low platelet count discovered last week, I need to see a doctor at the new Cancer Center. The one that, when you drive past it, looks like a Las Vegas casino. My regular doctor's scheduler said not to worry about being sent to a cancer doctor. What's wrong with me now? Wednesday, November 24, 2010. Off Coumadin At Last. My primary care doctor said one year should be enough of the Coumadin and I can stop completely, today. I have been taking some kind of blood thinner since November 16, 2009. I'll need one more ultrasound exam on the right leg to check the progress on the DVT clot. What's wrong with me now? Monday, June 27, 2011. Saw my eye doctor today. This was a routine check up and exam, the annual one I get with the opthamologist. What's wrong with me now? Tuesday, November 15, 2011. I went to my primary care physician for a routine check up and pain management re-evaluation. Other than these items everything else appears ok for now. The remains of the blood clot in the right leg hasn't improved and it still hurts. I'm told it should go away someday. What's wrong with me now? Tuesday, February 14, 2012. Doctor puts me on a diabetes drug, Metformin, twice a day. As for the platelet count I must see a hematology specialist. Before I could remind him of the wildly incorrect EKG a few months ago that showed nonexistent scars on my heart he said tests were sometimes wrong or misleading. What's wrong with me now? Tuesday, October 4, 2011. Eye Exam, One Month After Surgery. The eye is doing fine and the doc reduced the number of eye drops I have to take daily. In three weeks I will be done with them completely. Next month I need to go in for a vision test to get a new prescription for my glasses and I need to see the surgeon in two months for a check up. Doctor said the x-rays looked fine and he wants to see me in two years. Tuesday, April 12, 2011. Follow Up Ultrasound On Right Leg.
