After collecting my bike from the milking cow shed (no joke) I had a great day in the saddle. Lovely descents (clocking up a healthy 42 mph) and able to appreciate the view in the sunshine! Kev's cycling journey challenge from Land's End to John O'Groats in August 2010. Thursday, 12 August 2010. Arrived at Land's End to a welcoming fireworks display, with all the tourists in Kernow to greet us! It didn't take long before we bumped into a bewildered cyclist asking where the finish line was (at 10pm) having cycled 130 miles today! I am now buzzing and ready to get going in the morning, whilst overlooking the most south-westerly English sea, after a huge breakfast of course!
