Contributions from Greencroft and Watermans allotments, Henley-on-Thames. I just had to remind myself that the weather does get better…. January 31st, 2010. I just had to look back through my photos, to remind myself that summer does exist. What a difference there was between my allotment last July, and then on December 24th when I had to search for my brussel sprouts in the snow. Still they do say that a frost makes the brussels sweeter, and nobody complained about mine on Christmas Day! End of July 2009.

Traditional allotment gardening in the Thames valley. Growing Early Summer Cabbages. November 30, 2017.
