The Smith News: Birmingham-Southern College Homecoming
http://barclaysmith.blogspot.com/2008/11/birmingham-southern-college-homecoming.html
Tuesday, November 11, 2008. This past weekend Jack and I took a trip back in time. Back to where it all started - Birmingham-Southern College. Yes, that is where Jack and Barclay or Bark and Jacklay as we have been called on many occasions, all started. . We not only "tailgated" on campus, we walked around and saw all the new additions since we left back in the '90s. It is like a different place. Now I know though that those "old" people can still have as much fun as the younger ones. . We have been bles...

Thursday, September 25, 2008. Chicken Salad Chick Grand Opening. Today was the Grand Opening of the Chicken Salad Chick. Of course, it has actually been open for a while, but this event was put on in conjunction with the Chamber of Commerce - a ribbon cutting, the mayor of Auburn. Very exciting stuff! All the "chicks" were there along with Stacy and Kevin's friends and families. . I don't know exactly how she did it, but she did. And I am so proud to be a little bitty part of it! With Johnny Depp. I ...

The Smith News: A Wonderful Weekend on the Plains
http://barclaysmith.blogspot.com/2008/09/wonderful-weekend-on-plains.html
Sunday, September 21, 2008. A Wonderful Weekend on the Plains. Many of you know that we have only lived in our new hometown for about 15 months. We have all adjusted amazingly well thanks to the wonderful community and a very special group of friends. . After the meet, Jackson and Jack headed to soccer practice and I took the other two downtown. Since we have lived here, we have avoided downtown on game weekends, but we had some time to kill so we braved the traffic. We stopped at J&M (where we m...Sunda...

Wednesday, September 9, 2009. Wow I still cannot believe it. The girls were right! All along they have said it was a brother and here he is:. la * T * da: The House Tour
http://latdah.blogspot.com/2012/03/house-tour.html
La * T * da. Wednesday, March 21, 2012. I've been asked quite a few times about "the story" behind "Orange and Blue on Drake", so today seems like a good day to tell the whole story (although really there's not that much to tell). We live right around the corner from "orange and Blue", so when a For Sale sign went in the yard of the house, I was a little curious. But the price tag made me very curious! So now it's time for the offcial house tour, with side-bits of information along the way! The picture b...

That I had hot-glued rose petals to many years ago. I removed the petals and got to work. I had no idea if the napkins would work, but for $2.99 for a pack of napkins, I didn't have much to lose.
