Monday, September 8, 2008. This and That Continued. Summer is almost over. It's just lovely weather now, not a speck of humidity and lovely fresh mornings. This weekend Sam stopped by with the kids. I have to say, he's an amazing father. I don't know of another man who would take a 4 year old, a six year old and a 7 week old voluntarily - and still be able to smile! Wednesday, July 29, 2009. I was gonna wow you with pictures of my daylillies and star-gazer lillies. No cigar. My old laptop (3 years old or less) gave up the ghost- taking with it all my photos on the hard drive! I guess if I can't convince my son to do it, I will have to have the overpriced Geek Squad take them off for me. Heather was shocked that I don't back up my pictures onto a disk - hey she's seen my housekeeping - why would my computer keeping be any better? Have we backed mine up yet, though?

We have all gone mad around here. Some more than others. For science day at school, the kids dressed as mad scientists. Owen decided to go all out with his hair, while Laney and Spencer went for a more reserved look. AJ's hair, well, his hair always looks crazy but we are so thankful that he finally has some we just aren't bothered. They had a great day at school with a mobile planetarium and experiments galore.
