http://greenitnyc.blogspot.com/2008_02_01_archive.html
Your resource for staying green in the wired and wireless world of. Tuesday, February 19, 2008. Finding a "green" computer. And you want it to work, right? There's even an option to plant a tree. By plugging your phone...

By plugging your phone, camera, or battery chargers into a power strip that can be turned off, you prevent "phantom drain" by those devices. Most chargers do use current even when they aren't being used.

Half A Pat: Dad
http://halfapat.blogspot.com/2008/06/dad.html
Wednesday, June 18, 2008. Posted by Pat V at 11:52 PM. Its June 18th and today would have been my Dad's 84th birthday. This picture is of my mom, dad, and yours truly at one week old. Gotta love the glasses. The next day, Friday. His breathing got better and he was able to breathe without the ventilator. He wasn't fully conscious. But at least he was progressing and breathing on his own. They then moved him out of the ICU and he was placed in his own room. Long time, no see. What? It was a very uplifting...
Half A Pat: So the challenge this week....
http://halfapat.blogspot.com/2008/04/so-this-weekss-challenge.html
Sunday, April 6, 2008. So the challenge this week. Posted by Pat V at 10:20 AM. One of the things that have been the toughest to change is my eating. I know that I'm not alone in this regard. In fact the diet industry is a zillion dollar business. I feel that I have. Changed my dietary habits and what I put into my system. But its still really tough. I don't cook enough and I eat out too much. I. Have however cut out (mostly) my drinking (really! And the post-drinking meals that went along with it.

Of course he didnt let me know until today that he turned 36 on the day of our last training session.maybe because he thought I would have planned something especially evil for his birthday? Patrick, thats so rude.I would never do that! Viewers: if you care to wager a guess as to what Pat might consider an appropriate oral replacement for smoking, please comment here. Keep that sweat Patrick! Other Bloggers...
Half A Pat: In this week's edition of pain and suffering....
http://halfapat.blogspot.com/2008/03/in-this-weeks-edition-of-pain-and.html
Sunday, March 16, 2008. In this week's edition of pain and suffering. Posted by Pat V at 8:56 PM. The Wednesday and Friday workouts were. well. sweaty.real sweaty. I know that the point of going to the gym is to physically exert yourself. And in doing so, the body is going to try to cool itself down through the process of sweating. If you don't sweat, you're probably not working hard enough. And 10-12 bent over rows with kettlebells. I was tortured for four circuits. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
