Monday, October 30, 2006. Anyone care to help me with a bit of a puzzling garden question? I planted these lovelies in my food garden and they've done really well. They're rambling, green, slightly furry and have wee tendrils and small yellow flowers. And for the bonus prize round - what the heck are they? Just to be clear, that's a figure of speech. I loved my dress, mauve with little flowers at the ends of the ties, spaghetti straps on the dress with a matching jacket. Kate's prom was Saturday night and she looked beautiful. Her dress was a short Cynthia Rowley design, no gowns or updos for her! My favorite detail was this clasp on the front.very funky, very Kate. I wonder what she'll remember about her prom in 25 years. Laquo; Folk art. November 16, 2007. My life in boxes. Well, I finally have a moving day and about 10 days left before I leave Kansas City. I've found a house in Chicago.not an easy thing to do. There's a lot of expensive, fugly houses in so-so neighborhoods, I've really been spoiled living here in KC. We finally saw one we liked on the same street I lived on when I graduated from college and moved to Chicago.quite a coincidence! I'm saying 2-5 but I'll be here packing if you want to drop in! Ah crap....

The theme is Moulin Rouge and she specified short and skimpy.(Mothers of young daughters beware, this WILL happen to you, too! Quick sketch, long trip to Joanne Fabrics for pattern that I could adapt and fabric.
