Bike Tip of the Week. Tip of the Week. Despite one of the driest seasons on record there's still great times to be had on the white stuff. Spring/summer skiing can be some of the most rewarding skiing of the year but you have to plan differently. Extra sun protection. The sun is much stronger this time of year. I suggest wearing an old long sleeve collared shirt, its stylin and functional. Cover any other exposed skin with strong 30 sunscreen. Labels: On the Skintrack. Ski Tip of the Week. Road bikes, mo...

Bike Tip of the Week. Best of Durango Single Track. Shred ready and Durango bound. Mary feeling the flow at Phil's World. WSC Guide John M. So what does a mountain bike guide do with his off time? After our annual Western Spirit. Guide meeting in Moab Utah I found myself with three free days. I am tired of driving to and from my home in Park City and Moab is already so hot. So I took up my co-guides offer of a series of epic rides in Durango. Mary and I jumped in the car and we’re off. Tip of the Week.

Bike Tip of the Week. Fully throttled from my most epic day on the bike 120km from KTM to just past Dhunche. I had groups of children running with me through sections, thumbs up, middle fingers, and everything in between; truly an amazing day. Even cotton candy can be found at Swayambhunath. Elephant bathing in Chitwan NP. Nearing Kyanjin Gumpa(3914 m) on my 2nd day of what lonely planet said to be a 6 day trek. I was moving! Langshisa Ri(6427 m) looking in the distance. http://www.westonshirey.com/2014/01/columbia-sportswear-omnifamily.html
Bike Tip of the Week. Columbia Sportswear = #OmniFamily. Last week was one of those unforgettable experiences. It is not everyday that 35 like minded people are brought together in a resort town to test their metal. Thats exactly what Columbia Sportswear. Did last week. Last week Columbia assembled 4 seasons of #OmniTen. What is #OmniTen? For example, that is one tough mother. And the story of her career and success is truly inspiring. But were they arrogant?
