Crystal River Tree House. This solar home represents the careful integration of double-hipped prairie style roofs with subtle curved forms. The addition was designed so that the owners could occupy the home during construction by making only one point of contact with the existing home. When the addition was nearly complete, we made the connection between new and old by simply removing temporary framing from a door opening. Location: Snowmass Village, Colorado. Size: 3500 sq. ft.
