Thursday, October 9, 2008. Ways to be Green. Enough about cloth diapers (for now anyway). Let's discuss some ways to be green. Most are pretty simple, but some take a little extra work. Get reuseable grocery bags for the store. Plastic bags use a ton of energy, crude oil, and produce a ton of waste. Bad on every level. Don't get receipts at the ATM, gas station, etc. If everyone stopped doing this, we would save a ton of trees. Clean with vinegar, tea tree oil, lemon juice and other all natural items.
