Launched in 2008 as a response to the realisation that the special days in a calendar Like Christmas and birthdays always ended up being anything but environmentally friendly. As we are both mothers of young children we wanted to be proactive and change the wastefulness that seemed to be a by-product of every party. So we put our heads together and founded Green Ribbon. Green Ribbon Books is now a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. We will be pursuing many new projects to benefit the people of western Montana. We began with a love of books and a desire to contribute to the community. By partnering with other nonprofits, we help them raise funds through online and local book sales. We sell online through Amazon. As well as in our retail store at 829 S Higgins Ave, on the Hip Strip in Missoula.
