Saturday, December 13, 2008. The day has come. There has been a whirlwind of events since I last updated. It has resulted in the loss of many of our volunteers. It's sad, almost tragic, that this is how we will end the volunteer program. All the times we've joked about how we should have a Survivor-type scenario with people getting voted off - happened all at once. Nonetheless, it is what it is and we do with what we have. More on this later, I'm all out of Internet time for now! The day has come.

Hope we'll meet again, Santa Teresa. Jag paddlade som ett djur men kom verkligen inte ur den, tackar för det morgonpasset! I måndags var det en vän till oss som fyllde år, det blev självklart lite kalas. En brasa nere på stranden med BBQ, perfekt sista kväll. Känslan att säga hejdå till folk man hälsat på flera gånger om dagen under så lång tid kändes overklig, tråkig. Trots det fanns det någon känsla i kroppen som sa, NU ÄR DET NOCK! Nu är vi båda förväntansfulla på vad Kalifornien har att erbjuda!
