Tuesday, February 22, 2011. Jude turned ONE on Saturday (Feb. 12th). It is so hard to believe that we brought him home from the hospital one year ago today - on valentine's day - weighing a little over 7 pounds. now, he is a chunky monkey crawling all over our house and calling us da-da and bah-bah (i'm pretending this means mama but said like he has a cold). I'm sure I would be much healthier if I could just make myself eat Jude's food. Here are a couple of pictures from the day. Greg and ginger o'brien.

I just wanted to give you guys a quick update on how things are going with The Scripture to Music Project, my goal to write a song for every book of the Bible by the time I turn 30 on 11/11/11. So, after productive day, I have 14 songs left to write and record - 5 from the Old Testament and 9 from the New. 11/11/11 is about 11 weeks away. Thursday, March 31, 2011. Ellie took her first steps on March 14, about a week and a half after her first birthday! She's been really cautious since then, not ever wanting to do it - especially not on cue. But, the last few days, I think she's realized that walking is pretty cool and has been doing it a lot. :).
