Double the Fun (plus two! Adventures of the Packer Family. Monday, August 3, 2015. Summer is happening in this house. There's no need to try to put these in chronological order. "Logical" and "order" are words thrown out the window here in summer. Kate learned the proper use of dental floss. Ethan got new sticks. Then made an immediate attempt to destroy my house. Soda is still here. This needs to be documented, because every day that we survive her and she survives us is a true miracle.

Double the Fun (plus two! Adventures of the Packer Family. Thursday, August 6, 2015. California, part 3. The third week we were there, my mom had to go to Girls' Camp, so Kristen stuck around one extra week, to "babysit," as she called it. Turns out, she takes her job seriously. She took care of the kids, and, more importantly, me, like she was getting paid. She even went on a hike with us. And only cried once. Okay, that's enough. Scott came to pick Kristen up, and we spend a day at the Science Museum.

We (more like I) packed up all our gear and headed up to the mountains for a few days. The girls were excited to say the least. They had been talking about it for weeks. Tuesday, October 4, 2011. Random Camping has it's moments :). We end up somewhere by Kanosh (which oddly enough made me think of Ganache) We drove through that canyon. It was pretty and different to look at. We soon came upon a rattle snake. After seeing no where to really camp and also I wanted to put some space between me and fangs pictured above so we kept on driving. We ended up driving up the Kimberly which leads down into Maryvale. Can I say breathtaking? The leaves up there were so beautiful!

Ism And while it's safe to say that I am now a wholly-committed vegetarian, there is still one time a year wherein I partake of. A minuscule amount of. Meat In my case, meatballs. (And only three.).
