New Digs | g*log
https://gregfulcher.wordpress.com/2009/04/30/new-digs
The past six or so months, or maybe it’s more like the past year and a half, has been a time of new digs… so why not jostle around the virtual residence of the g*log, too, right? I’m not dead yet, so that’s good. Now, where was I? Lounge, dining area and workshop. I haven’t gotten off my ass to process more photos of the construction of the edit suite and all that, so deal with it! Dining room, looking into kitchen. The back yard… Stylish, eh? But, here we are, to stay for a while, I’d say. It&...Fill in...
Cleveland! : Kent and Darlene

Posted on Monday, September 3, 2012 · 1 Comment. We walk in the door and my mom hands me twenty pounds of pork butt. Why not? Even though it took some convincing, we decided that just ten pounds of kalua pig would be enough for the family. My dad has a meat smoker, and he is great at using it. What do you call someone that is good at smoking meats? Thanks, mom for knowing how much I love it and making sure we had it on my first night back. Time to walk the dogs! He’s so much better than I was when ...
One Sixty: Finishing Finish Work
http://onesixty.blogspot.com/2013/11/finishing-finish-work.html
Renovating our home into its post-centennial era! It's been nearly a month. The contracts are signed, the deposit is made, the forms are filled out. There's no stopping the fast train to solar. I emailed just yesterday to check on the status of the project. and we're waiting on final approval of our first rebate. It could be tomorrow, it could be a couple weeks, I was told. After that, we'll be notified and probably scheduled. And what about the mudroom bead board/chair rail? We have a ton of bead board ...

Author Archive for Greg Fulcher. It’s raining again, I’ve finished my work, waiting now on clients. The Mountain Goats. Are cued up and I’m ready to rant. Do you mind? Oh, you do? OK Well, that’s too bad. Here goes. Open-Carry and Peet’s Coffee:. Today, Peet’s Coffee. Oh glorious Peet’s how I savor thee) issued a statement which has drawn criticism from a particular few, namely – the Open-Carry ‘movement’. That’s nothing I can answer. Can you? Who bring firearms to political rallies? That anti-Semitic di...

Renovating our home into its post-centennial era! Plans changed once more. and for the second time, it's actually a good thing. (Wow, things are just falling into place all on their own - like a tetris game of all squares.) If you recall, our carpenter was supposed to be over this past weekend so that he and Mike could rip off a bunch of old siding by the chimney and re-shingle to fix an ongoing roof leak in the bathroom. Ok - we'll take this opportunity to PURCHASE THE SHOWER! Can you believe it? So Mik...

Renovating our home into its post-centennial era! Stairs - They Just Happened All of a Sudden. Hello crazy kids. I can't even describe to you the last nearly-two months. You would have to have lived through it to totally appreciate the insanity of it all. Back at the end of May (like, seriously? Well, I'm happy to report that the appraiser came and the value of the house turned out to be very favorable. The stairs from the first floor to the second have always caused us issue. They were temporary to ...
One Sixty: Manic Monday
http://onesixty.blogspot.com/2013/05/manic-monday.html
Renovating our home into its post-centennial era! The insane plan that I outlined yesterday worked only partially. (What do you expect? It was insane.) Kudos to the guys for putting forth a great effort and accomplishing all that they did! Here's the wide shot - as you can see, that living room window is back in place and shingles are up all the way past the top of that window. The very tippidy top near the roof has yet to be completed. We avoided a HUGE step in the process. The plywood! Also what you ca...

Renovating our home into its post-centennial era! Floors, Pipes, and Blizzards. Lots of excitement round here. so much so in fact that I haven't even had time to type out two sentences about it. Even though we're not a fan of it, we went to check out the stick-on flooring. (This bathroom is only semi-permanent after all.) And wow! 30 for a box of 12x12 stick on tiles that would cover nearly the entire bathroom floor. (Compare this to a good quality 12x12 tile at over $5 a tile! Flooring by the Shower.
One Sixty: Falling for New Projects
http://onesixty.blogspot.com/2013/10/falling-for-new-projects.html
Renovating our home into its post-centennial era! Falling for New Projects. Wednesday, July 24th. And I quote, " Now for a much deserved break from the house.". And for once, we pretty much made good on that promise. As you may recall, we had been feverishly completing exterior siding and stair railing updates in preparation for a lucrative refi in the early summer months. I'm happy to report that we completed that refi and are now saving about $300 per month. Woo-to-da-hoo. Hey, we're installing SOLAR!

Friday, February 17, 2012. Hello Family and Friends, 02/17/2012. We have not fallen off the edge of the earth, and I can’t say we have been exceptionally busy. I think. I would love to share with you some deeply spiritual and moving stories, but I have none. Greg’s job is to wipe noses and triage the calls from eight different missions. My job? Oh Ya, I am Elder Craner’s assistant (like he needs one) NOW LET ME SEE, My Job? Hmmm, I guess I don’t have a specific one. I am the filler inner. October 13, 2011.

What a Family!
Saturday, September 25, 2010. Logan took a few random pictures - I loved this one of Brenly. Monday, September 13, 2010. Greg turned 33 this year! We had a nice relaxed birthday. His parents came over for dinner, FHE, dessert, and some soccer outside. We are so thankful for what a great husband and father Greg is! Sunday, September 12, 2010. With Adam in scouts, he got to go to his first pack meeting. Since he had earned his Bobcat, he got to drink "Bobcat blood"! It was sure entertaining to watch though!
