snugglybabyschock: March 2013

Tuesday, March 19, 2013. First trip to Center Island. Greg wanted to head out to the cabin to check on things so Caitlin and I decided to go with him. We packed up and bundled up. Caitlin did great on the Paraclete (the boat/private ferry that takes us out to the island when the weather is rough). I put her in a front pack and she slept the whole way. I think she liked the drone of the engine and bounce of the waves. Thanks for the warm fleece Grandma and Grandpa Clarke. Sleeping on the Paraclete. This w...

snugglybabyschock: Five months in one post!
http://snugglybabyschock.blogspot.com/2013/08/five-months-in-one-post.html
Friday, August 9, 2013. Five months in one post! Caitlin was about one month old in these photos. It is so easy to forget just how little she was! You can also see how bent over her right hand was. Thankfully there are no lingering problems with that hand. It is equal to the left side now. Caitlin and Mama took a trip to Arizona to visit Gina in Scottsdale and John, Celeste and kids in Tucson. Caitlin did great on the airplane. She slept most of the way. Visiting Greg's Aunt and Uncle. Time for a bath!

snugglybabyschock: December 2013

Friday, December 20, 2013. Caitlin dressed up as a sweet little black cat for her first Halloween. Momma and Cait went to a Halloween party and then trick or treating at the businesses in Stanwood. Cait tried her first dum dum sucker! We went to the pumpkin patch with our friend Emmalee and her kids. Cait's pumpkin is still sitting on the front step. Thanksgiving was spent at the cabin on Center Island. We had a great dinner with the caretakers and several others who were out there for the holiday.

Sunday, December 23, 2012. We have spent the last couple of months coming up with ideas for making the baby's room comfortable and fun. We picked up the main furniture via Craigslist. There are so many deals out there to make this baby thing affordable.or at least a little less expensive! So Jack started us on the monkey theme. We picked up a few monkey themed items all in neutral colors since we still didn't know the sex of the baby. We are still finding ways to draw more "girly" colors into the room...

Thursday, October 11, 2012. Snuggly Baby GIRL Schock! Greg and I had a hard time deciding whether to find out the gender of our baby at our 20 week anatomy ultrasound. We went back and forth, back and forth until we ultimately decided it would be fun to find out before the birth. Our little one was pretty shy until right at the end of the scan. I had to walk around and move a bit until finally the ultrasound tech was able to get a peak. Now we can plan for the arrival of our little girl!

Sunday, September 23, 2012. Two Dogs and a Baby. Our two dogs, Carl and Lola, have been our "babies" for more years than we can count. Long before we decided to have a little human baby we loved and cared for these two furry creatures. They have been there through all the good and hard times. Lola on the other hand has always been the "baby" and never really had to deal with having kids around. In fact she is definately a mama's girl! Unfortunately we got some sad news this last week: Carl has lymphoma&#...
