http://gregbrown.co.nz/code/djangocms2000

Djangocms2000 - A Flexible Django CMS. February 1st, 2010. Designed to be a a drop-in replacement for django's built in Flatpages. App, this is the tool I use for most static content on my django sites (including this one). Must be easy enough for end-users with no html knowledge to use. But, must be something I'd use myself, by choice, to set up a website instead of plain html (i.e., when there is no cms requirement). Get it at http:/ github.com/gregplaysguitar/djangocms2000/. Or check out the reference.

http://www.soyoucode.com/2011/minify-html-output-django

So, you code. Well, do you, punk? How to minify HTML output in Django. Posted by Nicolae Surdu. On Monday, May 9, 2011 · 10 Comments. So, you want to compress the size of the HTML that Django generates? Here is the Django way to do it. In order to do this, you’ll have to write a middleware. So, create a file called middleware.py (for this example, but you can name it whatever you want) inside your Django app folder (let’s call the app MyTestApp). Copy the following code inside it. RE NEWLINE = re. With t...

Jeremy’s sourdough Blog. On Oven in progress. On Oven in progress. February 2, 2009, 3:10 am. So after reading a couple of amazing books about masonry ovens, I took the leap and started constructing one at my family’s house here in Christchurch, New Zealand. Here are some photos taken during the construction. This is just after laying the foundation and hearth slab. I found the plans while reading a great book called the bread builders. The man who did the design recently past away. 2 Comments so far.

Jeremy’s sourdough Blog. On Oven in progress. On Oven in progress. November 20, 2009, 2:00 pm. I made some alterations to my clay oven. Originally the insulation was just sawdust and clay, but because of cracking and heat loss I decided to upgrade. BROTRON The Art of Greg Brotherton

Creates meticulously detailed sculpture, using steel, wood, glass, concrete and unusual found objects. Greatly inspired by the dystopian and political fiction of the early 20th century, his pieces emerge from Kafkaesque imagery around themes of escape and discovery. Brotherton’s vision is one of lonely isolation in a post-industrial world where one being, tinkering away with silent genius, could become the hope of the future. All images Greg Brotherton 2011.
