http://gkdearton.blogspot.com/2007_11_01_archive.html
The De Arton Adventures. Tuesday, November 6, 2007. Sunday, November 4, 2007. Hi all-I've avoided writing because I don't have any pictures. However, I wanted to let all of you know that I plan to blog. With pictures of next week's family activities, my class, and anything else that's requested. I was going to post pictures of my family but then I realized that all my readers are. My family, so you already know what you look like. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). The Greatest Grandchildren Ever.

http://gkdearton.blogspot.com/2008_02_01_archive.html
The De Arton Adventures. Sunday, February 24, 2008. Now that I am attempting to be a blogger, I actually like tags. For one thing, as Ann-Michelle pointed out, it's always fun to talk about myself. For another, no pictures are involved! 20 years ago. 1988. I was living on Ruthie Lane in Redding, California busy planning and contemplating a 3 week trip the upcoming summer to Israel and Egypt. 10 years ago: 1998. 5 years ago: 2003. 3 years ago: 2005. 1 year ago. 2007. This was also about 6 months into my q...

The De Arton Adventures: Update
http://gkdearton.blogspot.com/2008/06/update.html
The De Arton Adventures. Sunday, June 1, 2008. Okay-I was really trying to be a good blogger. I went on a field trip to Virginia City and even remembered my camera! I took a bunch of great pictures. Then a few days later we went to Brynn's birthday party, and once again, I took a bunch of pictures with the intent to create a blog post. So, I came home, tried to download the pictures, and for some reason they disappeared! I was really mad, but what can I do? Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

The De Arton Adventures: July 2008
http://gkdearton.blogspot.com/2008_07_01_archive.html
The De Arton Adventures. Tuesday, July 1, 2008. A Fun Surprise an added bonus. Last Saturday I received a surprise call from my cousin Doug's ex-wife, Kari. When Doug and Kari were married, Kari and I became good friends at the Jewett reunions. However, about ten years ago, Doug and Kari divorced and (sadly) I hadn't seen Kari since. It just so happens that Kari and her family were travelling through Idaho Falls on their way to Alaska, and they stopped by our house! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). If you cli...

The De Arton Adventures: October 2007
http://gkdearton.blogspot.com/2007_10_01_archive.html
The De Arton Adventures. Sunday, October 14, 2007. In case you're wondering what I've been reading, they're two completely opposite books. By Cormac McCarthy is a bleak look at the future. It's well-written and all, but be prepared for vivid descriptions of grayness and the things desperate people may do in the case of a nuclear annihilation of the human race. (Well, maybe it was just an asteroid that hit the earth- he never says exactly.). My church book group chose. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

The De Arton Adventures: Weekend with Nonny and Bob
http://gkdearton.blogspot.com/2008/06/weekend-with-nonny-and-bob.html
The De Arton Adventures. Friday, June 6, 2008. Weekend with Nonny and Bob. This past weekend we enjoyed a visit from Nonny and Bob who recently returned to the US from Central America. Welcome back! We went down to Logan and visited the Hansens. Tom and Gordon were as cute and entertaining as ever! We also learned that Thomas and Gordon will have a new baby brother in October. The Freeds came over the next day. Don't Dallis, Brynn, and Hadley look cute in their Colombia shirts? June 6, 2008 at 8:14 PM.

The De Arton Adventures: A Fun Week-end
http://gkdearton.blogspot.com/2008/05/fun-week-end.html
The De Arton Adventures. Monday, May 19, 2008. We started the day running a 5K at the river. Pictured below is Heather, Ann-Michlle, Allison, me, Julie, Lezhai, and Ryker. Heather is Ann-Michelle's neighbor and Kristi Jost's sister. Lezhai, Julie, and Ryker live in my neighborhood. My goal was to keep up with Julie. Uhhh, maybe next time. The DeArton participants: Ann-Michelle, Allison, and me. Note the fashion change-a hat rather than a headband. All of us on a handcar. Talk to you soon. Very impressive...

The De Arton Adventures: The Joy of Perennials
http://gkdearton.blogspot.com/2008/06/joy-of-perennials.html
The De Arton Adventures. Friday, June 6, 2008. The Joy of Perennials. With the approach of spring (I think), I need to write about how excited I am about perennials. I've always wanted a perennial garden, but it has never worked out for one reason or another. Last year I removed all the rocks at our entry way and planted several perennials. They actually started appearing a few weeks ago! I'll post some pictures when they're in full bloom. Ha ha- this is PERFECT! June 11, 2008 at 4:11 PM.
