http://edwinlilly.blogspot.com/2013_03_01_archive.html
Life in our new 'hood. March 18, 2013. Thank you, Cuz! So after my cousin read my last post about having to "save" parking spaces, he surprised us by sending us a package in the mail - an awesome parking CONE! It was EXACTLY what we needed. And it successfully saved our spot after the most recent snowstorm. Here's a photo to prove it! Thank you, Jimmy (and Lynn, Jacob, Andrew, and Tyson)! We love you guys! Now NO one better ain't dare steal this. OR ELSE! Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Life in Beantown: January 2014
http://edwinlilly.blogspot.com/2014_01_01_archive.html
Life in our new 'hood. January 15, 2014. Hello World, Hello 2014:. It seems like it's been a long time since I've posted anything to this blog. Since then, lots of things have happened. Sad things. (like my uncle's passing away in Houston and not. Being able to come back for the funeral breaks my heart). And also good things. Like my kiddos who make me laugh. Things that I've been able to be part of. Events that I've missed out on. (Sigh, being away from family is hard! Except I am not. Read: Pile-of-dir...

http://edwinlilly.blogspot.com/2012_03_01_archive.html
Life in our new 'hood. March 30, 2012. Would you ever consider having one of these? Okay, so if you've followed my blogs recently, you probably will notice a trend that I am trying to live more naturally by eating foods in its most original form and unprocessed as possible. Yes, some of my friends think I've gone a little on the deep end.borderline nutty.onto being the weird crunchy organic natural foodie person. whatever you call it. Crazy maybe? Not sure why I am on this kick. And then a friend told me...

Life in Beantown: Remembering Marathon Monday
http://edwinlilly.blogspot.com/2013/05/marathon-monday.html
Life in our new 'hood. May 17, 2013. The kids and I went to the Boston Public Library last week. And right in front of it, is the site of the Boston Marathon finish line. But alas, little Evan was sick. Coughing, congestion, fever, hacking sick. We not only had to cancel a playdate that morning, but the thought of venturing out at all was soon doomed. We stayed home, rested, took a nap. At 3pm, Edwin woke me up and told me that I had a lot of text messages. Show me, Lord, my life’s end,. My hope is in you.

Life in Beantown: July 2013
http://edwinlilly.blogspot.com/2013_07_01_archive.html
Life in our new 'hood. July 16, 2013. Photo credit: Daniel Tran. This past weekend, we went camping with our church in New Hampshire. First time for all of us to go tenting. It was so much work trying to figure out what to pack for the 3 kiddos (4.5 yo, 2.5 yo, 6.5 months) because it made us felt like we had to pack our whole house just to go! Okay, not that much. But it felt. It was exhausting just in packing! But, we survived. And at night, there literally were thousands and thousands of twinkling stars.

Life in Beantown: April 2012

Life in our new 'hood. April 1, 2012. Happy Easter Egg Coloring! I always love that eggs are an icon during Easter. signifying that we have "new life" in Christ, when He died (and resurrected) to take upon Himself on the sins of the world. Hence, new life = lots of eggs! Recently, Jocelyn's friends' grandma came to visit! Here are some photos:. Focusing hard on sprinkling glitter onto the eggs. Carefully adding on sequences. I love her chubby fingers. Please note: At 1.5 years old, they had to be str...

Life in our new 'hood. February 5, 2012. Joining the band wagon? Today is superbowl. And normally, I could care less (gasp! Except for the hangouts and the get-togethers.or even the commercials. (Ok I speak for myself. Maybe not for Edwin.) But because we are here in Beantown, people will not let me forget. Yes, today the Patriots are playing. It feels like a holiday. Everyone (and I mean everyone! And even the doctor wore a Tom Brady jersey. But, I am just ambivalent. Why? Links to this post. Oh The Pla...

Life in Beantown: November 2011
http://edwinlilly.blogspot.com/2011_11_01_archive.html
Life in our new 'hood. November 10, 2011. So a friend of mine recently told me (and won me over) about joining a crop-share! There is a nearby USDA certified organic vegetable farm that is 10 minutes away. So I said, why not? If i can bypass the grocery store, I can cut out the middle man! Here's what I got last week:. Wow, maybe I am slightly biased.but I almost feel like the fall vegetables were bursting with flavors! Any ideas or recipe suggestions? It will be so great to support local farmers. No...
