Kate Faulkner: March 2008
http://kateesther.blogspot.com/2008_03_01_archive.html
Thursday, March 27, 2008. Interesting thoughts to ponder. Interesting thoughts to ponder. I found these snippets on the About Me website - http:/ www.aboutme.org/blog.php. In a world where information is being delivered to us from all sides at an ever increasing rate, how do we make sure that the things which matter aren't lost in the noise? What kind of crazy world humanises pets while millions of children are allowed to be dehumanised every day? Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile.

Kate Faulkner: So who's poor anyway?
http://kateesther.blogspot.com/2009/01/so-whos-poor-anyway.html
Thursday, January 29, 2009. So who's poor anyway? I have been reading a book called 'The Blessings of the Poor', and have been getting so much out of it. It's caused me to re-think the way I live, how I view my possessions and their worth, and has opened my eyes to what really matters. I've asked myself the tough questions like 'Would I still be content if I had absolutely NOTHING but God? I think that's a great question for a 'self-check-up'. . And how could you EVER live without your iPod? Wow See, whe...

Kate Faulkner: A little thought of mine....
http://kateesther.blogspot.com/2009/06/little-thought-of-mine.html
Tuesday, June 9, 2009. A little thought of mine. It's been a while since I've blogged, I thought it was time to write my next installment :-). Since I last spoke. I have started a new job at a small optometrist (specialising in Behavioral Optometry), working as a personal assistant/receptionist/optical dispenser-in-training, and I am loving it! There is so much to learn, and I am eager to perfect my role. . And why does it scare us so to take that first step in outworking our faith? Shelfari: Book review...

Kate Faulkner: Blessings of the Poor
http://kateesther.blogspot.com/2009/01/blessings-of-poor.html
Monday, January 26, 2009. Blessings of the Poor. The other day I had the privilege to meet with Lynette Merry, the QLD Advocate Co-ordinator for Compassion, and have a coffee. It was most insightful! The poor who know Jesus are wonderful ambassadors of what is valuable in God's kingdom. They trust in Jesus because they must; their very existence depends upon his provision.' - David O'Rourke. Kate Faulkner: The wonders of experience...
http://kateesther.blogspot.com/2009/01/wonders-of-experience.html
Monday, January 26, 2009. The wonders of experience. I was reading over some of my bible college assessments tonight, and although they are only 3 years old, the content seems so gutless! That might sound a little harsh, but.it's true. Let me explain. When you're raised as a Christian it is really easy to adopt someone else's personal faith as your own - without even knowing it! There comes a point where every individual has to encounter God for themselves and build their own relationship with Him. I loo...
