We went to South Lake Tahoe for a family ski weekend. It was a season opener for Caroline and Alek. Alek and AJ enjoyed a little breakfast before we headed to the slopes. Candee Visit 2007

Candee came to visit. And it was our first time meeting Candee, which was special treat! We met at Moss Landing. To take in the views and wild life, and have brunch. Then we went to Vivian's house to converse and eat more delicacies. The visit started on a good note because Bob brought some Mimosa's for us to have as a tailgate party before brunch. Candee brought Alek the coolest drawing tool ever! He can trace any picture he puts into this cool new tool. He was consumed for most of brunch with it.
Mammoth-Tahoe 2008

Once again we headed to Mammoth for part of a week on our annual pilgrimage. Then we headed to South Lake Tahoe to enjoy Steve and Maria's hospitality and toys. We arrived late Friday night. So Grandma Sarah decided that Alek was too much of a dirtball and washed him up a bit in the kitchen sink. I took Alek off before breakfast to catch fish. He was determined to catch little fish with a net. We celebrated Sarah's birthday at our usual haunt - The Chart House. The crew waiting for the climbing pass.

We were in Santa Cruz for the day playing volleyball. And some kids were body boarding. So Alek joined them! The waves weren't too big this time. And you didn't need a wetsuit. Thanks for dropping by this site. This is why I started this site. I like wearing many hats and being the go to guy but that means constantly expanding and honing my skills. As dynamic as our profession is, I don’t think anyone can afford to let their skills stagnate. It’s not to say that we have to jump on every tech band wagon that comes rolling along but we should stay engaged in the sphere we work in.
