Thursday, December 31, 2009. David Bailey is amazing. I've always loved David Bailey's work and I'm amazed at how well his older work has stood up to the test of time as well as how his new work is so consistent. The Times of London has a killer little gallery of images. From Bailey's new book " Eye. This one image of Francis Bacon blew me away. Btw - Happy New Year! Thursday, February 12, 2009. I'm looking at all kinds of great stuff recently for inspiration and I found this web zine posted on one of the link farms. The work by Urszula Wolek. Also something cool I came across today is the collective of photographers and cyclocross enthusiasts at PDX Cross. The PDX Crossers also published a book. That I'll be picking up soon. Monday, April 19, 2010. Bob Croslin photographs Chad Ocho Cinco in Miami for Rides. Here's a recent spread I shot for Rides magazine in Miami in late February featuring Cincinnati Bengal Chad Ocho Cinco. Chad was a great host and allowed us carte blanche around Casa Ocho Cinco including allowing me drive all of his cars - a first for me on a Rides shoot! Don't listen to the haters - Chad's an awesome guy. And yes, he does tweet that much! Posted by Bob Croslin @ 3:11 PM. April 20, 2010 at 3:08 PM.

Saturday, January 2, 2010. 18 gigapixels of Prague. Absolutely amazing technology at work in this 18 gigapixel 360 pan image. Of Prague. I love shooting pans and this is just mind-blowingly cool. Photographer Jeffrey Martin used a 5D MK II with a 200mm lens and what sounds like a Gigapan rig. This is about 180 degrees of the image:. And this is a screen cap at about 90%:. At some point I'm going to have to rent a Gigapan and scratch the itch I have to make monster panoramas. Subscribe to Posts [ Atom.

Monday, September 22, 2008. Earnest Graham for ESPN the Magazine. I recently had the opportunity to photograph Tampa Bay Buccaneer (and FL Gator) Earnest Graham for ESPN the Magazine. He and his family were awesome - couldn't have asked for better subjects. I tried to keep things simple and let Earnest and his family just have fun. ESPN needed a strong image to go with the seriousness of the story and shot Earnest in several different locations. This is what ESPN ran. Two different looks from one light.

Thursday, May 20, 2010. Bob Croslin shoots James "Bubba" Stewart in Orlando for ESPN the Magazine. Just a quick clip from a shoot with Moto-X superstar James "Bubba" Stewart and his mechanic Dave Bell for ESPN the Magazine's EXPN. Bubba was a great subject and as nice as he seems on his reality show. His compound outside Orlando is sick and I had hoped to photograph him on his moto-x track but he was just coming off wrist surgery and not able to ride. Posted by Bob Croslin @ 10:58 AM. Saturday, August 8, 2009. I was recently approached by Bay art director Suzette Moyer with an idea she had to throw drinks at women in expensive clothes. We had a good laugh and then talked about how we could pull it off. After comping up a few ideas this is what we came up with. And a behind the scenes video of how we produced the shoot:. Wednesday, December 24, 2008. My Top 10 (plus a few). I really look forward to this time of year so I can comb through the critic's top 10 album lists to discover stuff I might have missed during the year. My tastes in music tend to be, well, a little weird. My wife thinks I'm a music snob. Sean Daly makes fun of me for listening to indie crap. My daughter just thinks I'm mental. So, since I look forward to the music lists every year I thought I'd post mine for 2008:. Kings of Leon - Only by Night: I'm r...
