Greg Tollis topped the school of Architecture and graduated from the University of NSW B. arch Hons 1 in 1971. Greg also became a licensed builder in1975 and has been a senior judge with the HIA for North Coast housing awards. As an Architect-Builder I am very interested in getting involved with more affordable housing and creating more ecologically sustainable neighbourhoods. Greg Tollis Architects 2016.

What is a sustainable house? Information from “Sustainable House” by Michael Mobbs. No rainwater to leave the site. No sewage would leave the site. No use of rainforest timbers. Use of plantation timbers or timbers from re-growth forests. No use of timbers or building materials that discharge toxic chemicals, principally formaldehyde while being used in the house. No use building materials made of PVC plastics. Water usage per person. 120 litres per day per person. 4 person family 1000 litres per day.
