It's the journey, not the destination…. June 5, 2014. January 21, 2015. Today’s rainy start put me in the mood for one of my favorite pho-ods (sorry bad pun). I proceed out to a neighborhood staple – Nicky’s. The owners have come to recognize my face over the years. They place my to-go bag on the counter 5 minutes later. Super yum! It seemed almost serendipitous to then find this article on Huff Post. As I did my daily lunchtime web surf. Horray! Istanbul, my (new) love. Leave a Reply Cancel reply.

It's the journey, not the destination…. May 29, 2007. Well, here it goesmy first official blog entry. It seems an appropriate theme these days. Just over three weeks ago I set out with my friend/colleague, Amy Van Vechten, for an official experience at the European Union, with the hopes to write and get stories published back in the States. I can’t stop thinking: does anyone really care? I must admit that I’ve been listening to Johhny Cash and Fiona Apple on repeat singing Cat Stevens’ words, and perhaps...

A Pocket Peridot
Monday, April 2, 2012. I suppose all of the following thoughts began to form in my mind a few weeks ago when I was in the midst of reading through Job. Many, many different thoughts tend to assail my mind when I read that book. As humans, I think we are fascinated by the message of Job's story. It's a hard one to unravel, that's for certain. I mulled and mulled and mulled over it. God is completely and totally sovereign over this earth. Nothing. Or not trust in His power? That's a good joke! And why shou...

You're reckless. You survive. September 16, 2017. September 16, 2017. Now, for September updates: I have a new pilot fully outlined. It’s similar to another pilot of mine, as folks talk a lot about building a brand. Broadly, my brand is female-led one hour drama, but when attempting to narrow it further I’ve focused on grounded sci-fi as that’s what people seem to think is my strong suit, and it’s a genre I’ve always enjoyed. August 8, 2017. Last week, I outlined my August goals. Sign up for improv.
