As I've said before, my hounds tend to get bored with dry kibble, so we always like to try something new to spice things up. Funny thing, every time I opened a can of this food, I was reminded of a previous foster of mine, Sysco Dave. Dave went to the bridge earlier this year, but he sure was a special boy. Whenever Felicia comes to visit, her mom always packs at least one can of this for her to eat. She has a funny tummy sometimes and can be a bit picky, but she loves the Venison Holiday Stew! Thursday, April 2, 2015. Me, the three pups and the husband are heading out for vacation on Saturday. We found a cute little dog-friendly cottage to rent in Orange Beach, Alabama. On Wednesday we will head over to Pensacola to get ready for GPA Emerald Coast's Event. We will be gone for 10 days. This will be our first family vacation with three greyhounds. Wish us luck! Hubs is one of those people where it has to be his idea. So I may just wait a while and see if it comes to him! Adjustable shelves will go along the wall at the left. Hopefully I can get started painting tomorrow night. I have to use stain blocking primer on the ceiling since it is tongue and groove wood.

Monday, September 29, 2014. This is the best roast ever! The cranberry and onion soup mix are a good combo. The gravy is awesome on mashed potatoes too! One can jellied cranberry sauce. One packet onion soup mix. I placed the roast in the bottom of the slow cooker. Spoon the jellied cranberries over the roast and sprinkle the onion soup mix over it. Put the lid on and cook on low 6-8 hours or until done. About 30 minutes before serving, sprinkle the flour over the liquid to make the gravy.
