Grieving Gluten: April 2011

http://grievinggluten.blogspot.com/2011_04_01_archive.html

A blog designed for people living with gluten and other food intolerances. A place for discussion, support and resources. Saturday, April 30, 2011. I took my dad visiting from Spokane. We shared a black forest ham and pear sandwich that came with a side of soup and apple coleslaw and the bacon tacos that came with a side of garlic roasted potatoes. We both agreed the sandwich was good but not impressive, that was also the consensus about the coleslaw. The bacon tacos were another story howeve...A tasty m...

A blog designed for people living with gluten and other food intolerances. A place for discussion, support and resources. Sunday, February 27, 2011. Portland spot for tasty treats. Though not extensive, Vita Cafe. Offers some great GF options. There are multiple vegan options also which is beneficial (especially since many of us with gluten intolerance have lactose intolerance as well)! A delicious and satisfying meal! None of the leftovers went to waste from this dish! The recipe is from the site Witty In The City. Hope you enjoy it as much as we did! 15 pounds chicken breasts or thighs, boneless and skinless. 2 large egg...

Grieving Gluten: Strawberry Shortcake

http://grievinggluten.blogspot.com/2012/03/strawberry-shortcake.html

A blog designed for people living with gluten and other food intolerances. A place for discussion, support and resources. Thursday, March 22, 2012. So in honor of Spring here is a perfect recipe, strawberry shortcake. It is one of my favorite springtime desserts! If you can refrain yourself to wait for the Oregon strawberries I recommend that. I couldn't refrain and fell for the allure of the California strawberries that are now available and was disappointed. It really is on its way. I hope, I hope.
