Friday, August 21, 2015. It's hard to believe that I have a three year old now. Man does the time fly! Abby's official birthday was on Friday and I made our family's traditional birthday cake recipe to celebrate. Both my Mom and Dad grew up with this chocolate chip sponge cake as their family birthday cake, so when they got married and realized they both used the same recipe it seemed only natural that they'd pass it along to us, and now me, to my kids! This picture cracks me up! Isn't he just the cutest?

Monday, October 27, 2014. I thought I was pretty smart this year when I suggested we go to the pumpkin patch on a Friday afternoon to avoid the huge crowds.
