Sunday, October 19, 2014. I finished the kids Halloween costumes on friday and decided this afternoon to take them over to our subdivision trail and take some photos. Next weekend we are super busy and the following friday is Halloween so today was it. I thought the trail would be a nice backdrop as our "yellow brick road" through the woods. Friday, July 3, 2015. AROUND THE WORLD IN THREE DAYS. This years GS day camp theme. The girls first time participating in a flag ceremony. I volunteered our girls for the days closing ceremony. We earned the coveted Golden Trashcan for doing a great job of picking up trash everywhere we went. Day two started out with our Adventure activity, Rock Climbing wall. Violet made it to the top! Monday, July 20, 2015. 10 DAYS OF FUN. Cousins visit. Lots of swimming, playing outside, shopping, ice cream, more swimming, zoo, staying up late, skating, melt downs, tons of popsicles, and tons of fun. I'm tired. Violet's favorite ice cream place, Yogurtini. It's not really about the ice cream. It's about all the treats she can add to the ice cream. Thursday, June 18, 2015. Gryphin's favorite thing to do right now is cleaning. Give him a rag and he likes to wipe everything down. He has a little broom too, likes to push it around on the floor and torment the dogs. Then I have to take it away and a melt down ensues. Hard work deserves a popsicle. Monday, June 15, 2015. Monday, July 27, 2015. Mica loves to read - hes going into 4th grade, and read all the Harry Potter books. I cant get Isaak to read at all. He pretends he cant, and guesses on the words. It frustrates me. It really frustrates Mica when I try and have him work with Isaak. I know hes smart. He was in the gifted program at school. I to read to them often.
