Chronicles of Jessio: August 2011
http://chroniclesofjessio.blogspot.com/2011_08_01_archive.html
Kansas, the Land of the Sky. Tuesday, August 30, 2011. Life is an endlessly fascinating story. Here's something I've been thinking about. In two of my classes, my professors recently said essentially the same thing. It was something like this:. A story is only interesting when something goes wrong.". Is he going to get away from those thugs! I must keep reading, or I just won't know if he survives this! Going to get out of this? So, I have this theory. I think that we can learn to see life as an endl...

Chronicles of Jessio: Poignant Experiences
http://chroniclesofjessio.blogspot.com/2011/05/poignant-experiences.html
Kansas, the Land of the Sky. Sunday, May 22, 2011. I am surprised by how much I like this kind of work. It's sometimes a very poignant experience, like slipping through the threads of someone else's life. I get a sweet little taste of the essence of who my ancestors really were. I should say who they. Because I know that they are still around. Them As I type up their stories, I feel them reaching out to me, embracing me, grateful that I am aware of them. They want to be known. Spring Break in New Mexico.

Chronicles of Jessio: February 2011
http://chroniclesofjessio.blogspot.com/2011_02_01_archive.html
Kansas, the Land of the Sky. Thursday, February 24, 2011. Let's love our bodies. Isn't it strange that I used to want to have a body so badly? We have been given these miraculous bodies as gifts from our father. How must it make him feel when we complain about them? When we compare ourselves to others, we are effectively saying, "Heavenly Father, this body you gave me isn't good enough! I hate it and I'm not grateful for the gift. Why couldn't you have given me something else? Thursday, February 10, 2011.

Chronicles of Jessio: February 2010
http://chroniclesofjessio.blogspot.com/2010_02_01_archive.html
Kansas, the Land of the Sky. Friday, February 26, 2010. Life from life in cold Kansas. So I went for a walk and decided to take some pictures of my miserable wind-swept state. It's funny because my face doesn't even look red in the pictures. I guarantee it was! I swear, I don't even LOOK cold! Thursday, February 25, 2010. Why is it hard to change? So I had to refrain from buying a replacement form of sugar. I've been victorious in one battle so far! I have a hard time working consistently day after day, ...

Chronicles of Jessio: March 2010
http://chroniclesofjessio.blogspot.com/2010_03_01_archive.html
Kansas, the Land of the Sky. Wednesday, March 31, 2010. My sister Sheridan and her sacrifice for me. Today is March 31, and that's the day my little sister Sheridan was born. She died at the age of six months, but had she lived she would be sixteen years old today! It's so strange to imagine what she might be like. It seems awfully sad that she should have been robbed of life at so young an age. And we were in, August of 1994. In October of that same year, Sheridan died. Monday, March 29, 2010. Paul and ...
