Grizzly Scat's Alaskan Times. Friday, December 26, 2008. 3rd R&R: Nov 21 to Dec 3: Carissa's Thanksgiving Visit. I got back to. Friday evening, and Chris and Jenni picked me up from the airport. I had a lot to do to prepare for the next day, and the weather was getting treacherous. As I drove the Craparoo down the steep icy hill leaving our neighborhood, I came across an SUV in the ditch/snowbank at the bottom. I pulled over, hooked up my tow rope, and pulled him out. Go Go Gadget Emergency Preparedness!

Grizzly Scat's Alaskan Times. Monday, June 29, 2009. 10th hitch: May 20 to June 3. The flight up to work provided stunning views of Denali and the surrounding mountains. A hitch or two ago, Jack asked me for a new material request sheet. I ended up making him the following sheet, and sending it out to make sure everyone knew to use his new sheet. We found out our most celebrated Mississippi boy was actually born in Boston, so I fabricated this photo of him hanging his head in shame, in his Union blues.

You can make out the rump tracks sliding down from the very top. Wheeldog on the right was REAL excited. We stayed at the Hotel Seward, a nice hotel near the water with an inspiring taxidermy collection. Dahl Porpoises playin' off the starboard bow. All those sea lions look like slugs on that rock.
