I needn't have worried. Sunday 26 January 2003. 4.12pm Touchwood Shopping Centre, Solihull. A girl (19ish) 5 feet 6 tall, around a size 14 in sports clothes. Bearing a *scrunchie* for full scrapeback of her brown hair. Clown was on a gold belcher chain, but a very poor specimen. I would estimate it was around the 2cm size with a few jewels. Very poor. Very disappointing after the veritable housebrick of a clown in McGoverns the other night. Still, it was nice to see one. Post a new comment.

Not sure, but. It seemed to me that I spotted a new variation at the Place of Azure Waters on Saturday. I scarce caught a glimpse, but from what I saw this was no ordinary clown. Rather, it was some manner of fearful ape, swinging from one arm, orang-utan fashion. And it was bdeazzling, decked out as it was with many a shining crystal. Post a new comment. I'm still spotting clowns. These days sometimes it's hard to tell which are genuine clowns though. There is such a variety of large gold pendants around you have to look really hard to spot a clown from say a ragdoll, or a pixie or something. A worrying silver trend has also emerged in the Midlands. We have silver clowns (no less obnoxious). I can't help feeling these are substandard, not the genuine article. Rarely a shopping trip goes by without the chooch nudging me and muttering "CLOWN! Not sure, but.
