modular mini: The first images of the prototype!
http://modularmini.blogspot.com/2011/02/first-images-of-prototype.html
Tuesday, February 15, 2011. The first images of the prototype! Still just in the primer but all ready some furniture inside the Modular Mini. I bought some Lundby items on Amazon just to get right the feeling when there was something in the house. On the spot we decided that there had to be a window in the kitchen and that we had to add something to the terrace. So Marieke took the house back home by bus and train (! Curious about the results? Tomorrow I'll post new pictures. Geplaatst door Nicolet Groen.

http://modularmini.blogspot.com/p/history.html
It all started in the week for the Dutch Sinterklaas. Sinterklaas is a day where every kid in the Netherlands is looking for the entire year. On pakjesavond (present night) they receive presents of Sinterklaas, the holy Saint Nicolas of Myra (Turkey). In the Netherlands Sinterklaas is supposed to come from Spain with a steam boat full of presents and his helpers the Zwarte Pieten. The rope haired dolls of the children's doll's house. In the beginning of december Marieke started working in my bureau as a ...

modular mini: The first drafts
http://modularmini.blogspot.com/2011/02/first-drafts.html
Monday, February 14, 2011. Marieke was so happy with this result that she got tears in her eyes, actually I didn't keep them dry myself. Afterwards we where talking about the process we went trough and Marieke took all the notes and paper from her bag. And there they where, the first drafts. Hadn't seen them in months! Funny how to see that we stayed so close to our first sketches during the entire process. Geplaatst door Nicolet Groen. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Paint job is finished!

modular mini: First look at the prototype!
http://modularmini.blogspot.com/2011/02/first-look-at-prototype.html
Monday, February 14, 2011. First look at the prototype! Exciting moment. Checking if the desired design is working. The wall between kitchen and living room turned out too small, taking a look with a thicker wall. And a piece of wood is placed to check how wide the fireplace has to be. Everything is not glued here, just checking measurements. Geplaatst door Nicolet Groen. February 14, 2011 at 10:08 AM. Ik ga deze blog op de voet volgen.ben zeer benieuwd! modular mini: 70-ties doll's house of Monique
http://modularmini.blogspot.com/2011/02/70-ties-dolls-house-of-monique.html
Monday, February 14, 2011. 70-ties doll's house of Monique. My colleague designer and interior photographer Monique of Q Creationz. Wrote me an email this evening. The designing process of Modular Mini reminded her of the doll's house her grandmother made for her in the 70-ties. She even sent me a picture:. Even though it is in black and white, I love the decor en the many retro details. Check the floor lamp in the lower right room! Geplaatst door Nicolet Groen. Labels: retro dolls houses.
