http://jmdavisfam.blogspot.com/2015_07_01_archive.html
Thursday, July 02, 2015. The rest of June. June was a crazy month, I've just been coming up for air periodically between work, having the kids home, and church and volunteer responsibilities. He made some new friends and had fun getting his shotgun and archery merit badges, among a few others. I joined in this year for the first time. One last thi...

But this helps me make goals to live as full a life as I possibly can – after all, I only get one here on earth! To get a degree at university. To visit South Africa.

Monday, August 31, 2015. Saturday, August 29, 2015. Martha and Me - August. This month, I tried another recipe for my Martha and Me challenge - Peach Pie Crumble Bars. From the July/August issue of Martha Stewart Living. Magazine (click the link to see the recipe on Martha's site). I had hoped to try something else too, but August was a busy month and to be honest, this issue of the magazine was a bit lean on interesting ideas. In July, I had made Strawberry Shortcake Sundaes. Monday, December 29, 2014. Two years ago today, I published my first post to this blog. Merry Christmas from our family to yours! Tuesday, December 23, 2014. Saturday, December 20, 2014. I realized that I've already made it to December 20 without watching Love Actually. And I think I'll remedy this tonight. After that, A Christmas Story. After st...

My parents are immigrants. That says a shit ton. With networking events every single night this week, by Friday evening, I was just pooped. I had originally planned to march in San Jose on Saturday, but with the torrential rains and whatever, my resolve was quickly waning. Most importantly, it felt comforting gathering with so many people in solidarity for women’s rights. And there was no remorse. No regret. This is fucking bullshit, and we have to ask, how/where are these kids learning this? I am so sic...
