Notes from an Arm Chair Rock 'n' Roll Star - Brain Blots
http://cmdavi-70.livejournal.com/177275.html
Or the Morphology of Schlock. May 5th, 2013. Notes from an Arm Chair Rock 'n' Roll Star. These days, my knowledge of certain kinds of music borders on encyclopedic. Such was not the case three decades ago. I became an adolescent in the early 80’s, and consumer culture, while maybe not yet at its apex, was spiraling upward. Perhaps in no other market was this more apparent than pop music and all the fashion accessories that were sold to promote it. There were echoes of what was to come as early as 5.

New Disclaimer song: "(The) Hale Boggs/Bopp" - Willie's Off-Brand Web Journal
http://disclaimerwill.livejournal.com/79517.html
Disclaimer Music Review Archive. Sat, Apr. 3rd, 2010, 10:31 am. New Disclaimer song: "(The) Hale Boggs/Bopp". Here's a new Disclaimer song I recorded, "(The) Hale Boggs/Bopp." Figured I should share something, since it's been six years since I've "released" a new song, and I think this is the best one I've ever written. (I know, it's a stubby yardstick against which to measure, like saying, "This is Eric Schaeffer's most enlightened work! Disclaimer: "(The) Hale Boggs/Bopp". Lyrics, if you're interested:.

You miss 100% of the rejection slips you don't apply for. - Willie's Off-Brand Web Journal

Disclaimer Music Review Archive. Mon, May. 24th, 2010, 05:14 pm. You miss 100% of the rejection slips you don't apply for. To begin with, my computer is fixed and I would be recording music again if I had time. I have not had time. I have been busy transcribing speeches and interviews from any number of bottomlessly terrible people ranging from a representative of the Monsanto Edible Abominations Against God and Nature. The Soul Coughing primer. I wrote for No Ripcord. Was apparently considered informati...

The most puppy drool since Turner & Hooch. - Willie's Off-Brand Web Journal

Disclaimer Music Review Archive. Fri, Aug. 13th, 2010, 03:01 pm. The most puppy drool since Turner and Hooch. Our digital camera broke a couple months ago. More accurately, Bev and I broke our digital camera a couple months ago. By dropping it from the end of a literal 20-foot pole onto the ice at the local skating rink. You see, Bev, her friend Michael, and (to a far lesser degree) I had spent a long time painting the Ice Wizards. By Village of Savoonga. CURRENT ASSESSMENT OF KATHY GRIFFIN:. Fri, Aug...

I met up with you in Inglis, thumbed a ride to Cedar Key. - Willie's Off-Brand Web Journal
http://disclaimerwill.livejournal.com/81171.html
Disclaimer Music Review Archive. Sat, Feb. 25th, 2012, 10:02 am. I met up with you in Inglis, thumbed a ride to Cedar Key. Bev's dad, Larry, maintains a trailer in Cedar Key, Florida, at which he spends five or six months every year because he understandably finds Maine winters disagreeable. A few weeks back, Bev and I, no strangers to finding things disagreeable ourselves, joined him down there for a week. And I had fun! But apart from some description of a failed relationship that apparently inspired b...

Fire Up the John Deere! - Brain Blots
http://cmdavi-70.livejournal.com/176930.html
Or the Morphology of Schlock. March 28th, 2013. Fire Up the John Deere! H is currently focused on the idea of purchasing pygmy goats, both to eat weeds and produce milk. I am only tentatively stoked about this, given that goats like to eat a lot more than just weeds. Then again, Ive been rather tentative about all of this but have gradually become a convert, even if I still know next to nothing about farming, urban or otherwise. In any case, if we open up a petting zoo, youre all invited! March 1st, 2013.
