Thursday, 2 August 2012. Everything here was in one bag for$1.50! 1400 yards of Antique Cotton and a pattern. 4 spools of "Daisy Gimp". This is from a "Woodwards" store (59￠). Woodwards opened in Canada in 1892. And closed for good around 1993. This was also in the bag. It says "creative circle" on it . If any one can tell me what it is for I would appreciate it. Tuesday, 2 December 2014. Unique Christmas tree on a budget. Red, turquoise, yellow and white Christmas tree. This christmas I decided to do something completely different (for me) with my tree! I seem to be in a bit of a yellow phase as I have added it to several rooms as an accent. It is not a traditional Christmas colour so to make it part of my decor took a bit of DIY. I like how it looks now that I have had my kitchen renovated. I finally painted the cupboard that I display it in. The evolution of the collection:. Vintage pyrex and glasses in turquoise and pink:. Wednesday, 20 May 2015. I love making Baby things and the last few years I have taken to making. Themed baby gifts for my grand- babies. I shared a bit about this owl-themed gift HERE. Another theme idea came from a small bird design I made. I shared how I made the quilt HERE. Even though I am not really a very proficient quilter. Monday, 30 July 2012. My 2 year old Grandson had been looking forward to his July birthday ever since his little brother turned one in March. For four months he talked about his"Robot Party". When I found out they would be visiting for his birthday I knew I had to make it special. Waiting for the party to start and having a few snacks. I found these large "u-build it" robots at Winners in the clearance section. How lucky was that? Even baby brother sat at the table! The birthday boy's favorite M&Ms.
