Monday, August 29, 2011. Waves of grief rush through freshly emptied spaces. Tears flow from my eyes. Remembering all you gave me, Dad. Thinking of your legacy that resides inside me. Hearts broke when you were lifted from this life. Knowing your struggle has come to a close. Seeing that you have been set free. Relief washed over you and brought you peace. An emptiness is left. Where you used to be. Time ticks by and life goes on. As it used to be. And sobs filled the air. As grief washed over me today.
