Sunday, November 15, 2009. Ground Zero Printmakers Society. I decided to join an artist run printmakers studio called Ground Zero Printmakers Society. It is run by Alain and Victoria from their own artist studio in Chinatown. The Bean asked if Ground Zero would be able to provide some work to substitute for a lastminute cancellation. Ground Zero said yes and I was fortunate enough to have been able to submit a monoprint that I did a few weeks ago inspired by my cat. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Fort Rodd Hill Artist in Residence. I spent four days in July at Fort Rodd Hill as an artist in residence. Coast Collective has a partnership programme during the summer months, and member artists cycle through the site in summer. I’m fascinated by this beautiful National Historic Park that’s just a short drive from my studio. It was a great opportunity to get to know it better. I feel like they trust me enough to open up to me about a part of themselves that is vulnerable. At least this is how I see what art making is about. The small char...
