When trying to do this we realised that the footage didnt match and therefore, looked unrealistic. We have shown how the lyrics relate to the song by including the anamtic of serena looking out of the window whilst the artist is singing "I'd just stare out my window" The anamtic shows how we will be including close up mid shots and tracking shot and also higlights the plan for the first 30 seconds of the song. Introduction to our first rought cut. Music video after feed back with Lindy. While director, Lindy was visiting on thursday she viewed our rough cut and gave us tips and advice on how to improve our video these included;. Less cuts - our old rough cut and to many cuts between locations which were the same. She also said that we should reveal the footage as the video goes on rather than having it all at the start. We have used these ideas to produce a new rough cut. (above).

After the group synced up the footage he began rearranging the clips into a rough order of how they will appear. Based on the storyboard he set up the locations and matched them to resemble the storyboard. Grand Theft Auto Spoof. Red Hot Chili Peppers - Californication. Goldeneye video - similar idea. We drew a storyboard of what we want to do in our music video in pencil so we can alter it if we went wrong. Once we had decided on exactly what we wanted we outlined the pencil with black pen, the next stage was to get a camera and film the storyboard and upload it to the computer cut each frame and create an anamatic with the storyboard. Screen shot and rough cut. During The Rough Cut. The rough cut is a very basic. We will be changing it alot, cutting shots so they are shorter, re-arranging the order, starting with the field walking shot, which will then cut into the street shots and red bush shots, which will be used for the first verses. We will then continue with the field shots for choruses and ending. And for our quick editing which we are calling strobing shots we will blend all locations together. Screen shot and rough cut.
