Wednesday, March 19, 2008. Busy days and four teeth! It has been a busy couple of weeks at the Hunter household! While Brian and I have been busy putting our condo on the market, celebrating Lydia's and my birthdays, and participating in Lenten services, Miles has been cutting teeth and rolling over. I don't have a lot of time today to tell all the stories, but here are some photos and descriptions for your amusement. Enjoy! Here we are at Lydia's and my birthday party! He also LOVES his new cup! Since w...

Camp Sloan: November 2010
http://campsloan.blogspot.com/2010_11_01_archive.html
Monday, November 01, 2010. It has become a tradition in our house to visit "auntie Maria" on Halloween! She is always so excited to see the kids as the are to see her! After our visit we trick or treat in her neighborhood. We love it. There are just enough kids in the area to create the excitement but not so many that my kids get lost in the crowd! http://lollyandpoppop.blogspot.com/2010/07/care-of-creation-class-trip.html
Lolly and Pop Pop's Latest News. Saturday, July 10, 2010. Care of Creation Class Trip. A ministry that Linda and I support is called Care of Creation (see http:/ www.careofcreation.org/. The students were completely enamored by the demonstration and many of them described how they had experienced the kind of landscape degradation that Craig is trying to reverse through his teachings. The pictures are probably not clear enough for you to see the difference in amount and clarity of water running off the mu...

Lolly and Pop Pop's Latest News: August 2010
http://lollyandpoppop.blogspot.com/2010_08_01_archive.html
Lolly and Pop Pop's Latest News. Saturday, August 7, 2010. The students were very timely in meeting me at the gate of Brackenhurst. We walked the 1/2 mile or so to the Matatu "station" at the main road. They encouraged me to give the creation care message. When we got on the next available "wondermobile" I thought we had lucked out - we were the only passengers. No worries! Then we continued along the road, proceeding to pick up more people along the way. These little vans have seating for 15! The slum w...

Lolly and Pop Pop's Latest News: June 2010
http://lollyandpoppop.blogspot.com/2010_06_01_archive.html
Lolly and Pop Pop's Latest News. Wednesday, June 30, 2010. Today was a different experience. I began the day with a distant view of Mt Kilomanjaro and hearing birds singing as I walked to the classroom. For my part of the devotional I read from Psalm 96 and 98 - underscoring God's glory in his creation. BUT - later in the day I went with one of the staff at KBTC and his wife on an errand into Limuru - a relatively large town near Brackenhurst. What an eye opener! As we left the school, along with two ext...

Raising the Barrs: Catch up time again?!
http://raising-the-barrs.blogspot.com/2013/06/catch-up-time-again.html
Sunday, July 14, 2013. Catch up time again? I think I'll just become a quarterly blogger. That should be enough! Slideshow design personalized with Smilebox. Our trip started out bright and early as normal. We all piled into the truck with the camper loaded and everyone dressed in "comfy clothes." And we were off. Bad feeling still there. The trip was going great. Then.a rock hit the windshield and it automatically ran. Not a crisis! I really thought that was the end of my bad feelings. Lets Play Catch Up.

Friday, August 24, 2007. Trip to Cincinnati for Kendra's 10-Year High School Reunion. We are finally able to use cloth diapers with Miles now that he has put on some weight. Although they make him look big-bottomed, you can rest assured that he still has a tiny little bottom under there. Thanks to Granner and Dee for purchasing his diapers for us! We love him very much! Links to this post. Wednesday, August 15, 2007. Family Weekend and 1-Month Update. Miles also had his 1-month doctor's appointment. ...
